PRP Therapy

In laymen’s terms, PRP Vampire Facial or PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma treatments are minimally invasive treatments that use your body’s own organic material to stimulate the growth of collagen and elasticity in skin and hair cells. And although they may sound somewhat radical, the premise of these types of treatments have been successfully used to accelerate the healing of wounds and burned skin for almost 20 years.

PRP Vampire Facial

A vampire facial? The name alone makes it sound very scary…. but actually, it’s quite the opposite. The PRP Vampire facial is a safe, revolutionary treatment that uses your body’s own platelets to rejuvenate your skin. The results are better texture, smoother skin and a vibrant youthful glow.

The vampire facial process involves extracting a few spoonsful of blood from the arm and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red and white blood cells. The plasma, which is rich in platelets contain elements that stimulate the production of collagen, elastic fibers and new blood vessels which will enhance the natural glow and beauty of your skin. The platelets are absorbed into your skin through a process called microneedling. (A minimally invasive process that involves inserting very fine short needles (micro) into your skin.) The PRP Vampire facial helps improve your skin for a healthier appearance, thicker dermis and improved overall tone.

PRP for Hair Loss

PRP treatment for hair loss or hair thinning is an in office, non-surgical procedure that also uses plasma to stimulate cell activity. Suitable for both men and women, the highly concentrated Platelet Rich Plasma, has essential growth proteins that help encourage the activity of hair follicles and promote new hair growth.

As with the PRP facial your red blood cells are separated from the plasma. The plasma, rich in platelets, is then injected directly into the scalp using a special needle at the level of the hair follicles or through microneedling. The plasma is injected at the thinning hair areas of the scalp.

PRP has been clinically proven to increase hair growth and slow down hair loss. It can make your hair thicker and fuller.
