Three longtime Scottsdale residents and community leaders Lisa D’Onofrio, Scott Salk and Sharon Buell, signed a commercial lease for a four-suite, 1,200 square-foot space and are planning for a summer 2015 grand opening in the Silverstone Center (23271 N. Scottsdale Rd., A-110, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85255). The team currently owns and operates another LunchBOX salon in The Scottsdale Marketplace on the Northwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Lincoln Road.
The second Arizona location marks the franchise’s 13th operating salon nationwide. Named four consecutive times in Entrepreneur Magazine’s top 10 categories in franchising, the fledgling franchise has commitments for 100 salons in 11 states and Puerto Rico, answering growing consumer demand for expertly trained estheticians trained for the sole purpose of speed waxing in an environment that is dedicated to each guest’s comfort.
“As body waxing makes a rapid transition from a luxury to a commodity service, LunchBOX is well positioned in the market to cater to men and women who are mindful about the places they go and the people they choose for personal services,” LunchBOX Founder + CEO Debi Lane said. “We’re as intentional about the locations we choose as we are the waxologists we hire, the products we use, the design and layout of our salons, and the franchisees we bring on board to grow our business.”
From Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 31, 2014, annual gross revenue for the corporate store in Boise, Idaho, was $478,415. The company’s flagship salon operates as a Two-Suite Boutique Box. Most franchises sold will feature a Four-Suite Complete Box configuration. For more on LunchBOX services, products and locations, visit http://www.lunchboxwax.com.
