In a Facebook post she exclaimed, ‘When I go pick up my daughter yesterday and saw a red mark in between her eye brows I think it’s a scratch but as soon as a get home I get a closer look these WOMEN decided to WAX MY DAUGHTERS uni brow.
‘I immediately started to contact the director of the day care in many texts she tried to come up with multiple excuses then this morning I take my daughter in person to the director. She laughs in my face telling me a bunch of lies and I do get upset!!!’
Upset and fuming Ms Salgado added that nothing like this should ever happen, adding that the staff had ‘no right’ to touch her daughter at all.
After garnering huge attention online, a second mother has come forward accusing the very same child-minding facility of waxing her son’s eyebrows too.
Glenda Maria Cruz explained, ‘I know a lot of you are going to say this not a big deal but honestly for me it is because their skin is really delicate and no lady has the right to do this to any kid.’
Ms Cruz added, ‘I don’t know how other moms will react if this was your child for me I feel like this is a warning like they did this what’s next you know my son can’t talk and I don’t know what he has been through.
‘And it’s really hard honestly because he’s just a baby he cant defend himself he’s not even 2 yet and I’m at a point right now that I feel like a bad mom because I cant protect him when he needs me the most and it sucks feeling this way.’
Following the complaints, Columbia Basin College, where the daycare is based has launched an investigation into the allegation reassuring other parents that they are taking the matter seriously.
