Although I am by no means a ‘girly girl’, I do enjoy getting a new piece of jewelry every once in a while. Waxing Poetic is a jewelry company that was new to me before I got the chance to partner with them for this review. I am happy to have found them!
It was hard to choose because of all of the neat options, but I decided on the Waxy Double Heart Necklace. Pictures don’t do it justice. One larger silver heart is paired with a smaller gold heart, for me, this signifies myself and my daughter. It is pretty and dainty, but well made. The chain already received a few tugs from my daughter as she inspected it, and declared “Pretty Pretty Necklace Mommy!”
Waxing Poetic provides necklaces, bracelets, charms, rings and more. Waxing Poetic’s philosophy statement says in part, “We’re in business to celebrate our collective beauty, our truths and the expression of all of it… our journey. We’re in business to deeply understand the world we live in, to live it fully, and to love it that much more.” Waxing Poetic’s signature finish is an artisanal antiqued look with oxidization. Most of their pieces are not designed to be high polish. I appreciate that their pieces, especially this necklace, can easily be dressed up or dressed down.
