One five-star review said: "Easy to apply, colour develops quickly. Brilliant if you want a colour but not to wear make-up." However, one critic wrote "Maybe it’s my skin but I didn’t find this to be very good, the first time I used it, I used a full pipette and my face didn’t change colour. I then changed the moisturiser I used it with and 2 pipettes and I got a very light colouring. I then continued for a few nights with about 8-10 drops and my eyebrows became very orange! Had to get them tinted! Won’t use any more as not worth the hassle."
Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self-Tanning Foam is also discounted from £15.99 to £8.99. At Boots, the same product would set you back an extra £6.01.

The lightweight aerosol foam "develops into a golden Australian tan that is conveniently touch dry in seconds and requires no wash off". After exfoliating and moisturising, apply the foam and you're ready to go.
One person said "Love this tan as you don’t have to wash it off and have to do minimal prep work. When applying it doesn’t have a colour but develops overnight great. Not a strong smell either." However, a critic added "I’ve used the gradual tanning moisturiser before but this was the first time using Bondi mouse. Contrary to some of these reviews, I did find the colour very orange and not at all natural. No colour guard meant I inevitably missed spots and even used sparingly, my hands were tangerine. Won’t be buying again."
The ever-popular St. Tropez also has discounts in their Self Tan Express Mousse, which is reduced to £17.09 from £33. The same product will set you back £15.99 in Boots.

This self tanner does require washing off, but can be customised based on how long you leave it on the skin. One person said "It is worth the price, I’ve used basically every brand going. It lasts the longest, doesn't make you look like tiger bread & fades evenly. Scrubs off easily so you can reapply again. I had it on for seven days and it was still perfect, just a little bit lighter than day one. I could have easily have got 8-9 days perfect wear out of it!"
However, another person said "I bought this tan to go away in December, I love St. Tropez, (the blue tin) but thought going a bit darker for holidays would be a good idea. This was awful, it streaked, dried as soon as I applied it. (Used with a st tropez mitt) when showered it was no darker than the blue tin, just patchy. Awful stuff. And as I said I'm a St. Tropez lover, I was gutted. Lesson learned."
