The summer is probably the season in which the very feminine Americans are busy in the bathroom with razor blades and wax strips to remove unwanted hair. But the other seasons are also busy with hair removal from armpits to legs. For many women and men, hair removal is a regular part of daily or weekly body care. There are different ways to get rid of unwanted hair. Yet the question remains: what is the best way to remove hair? It is different for everyone and for every part of the body. Which way suits you best, has to do with various factors, of which time is probably the most important.
Shave
You can take a (disposable) razor blade under your daily shower and update your armpits and legs. It goes fast, the effect is achieved immediately and it is not expensive. If you skip a day, stubble may soon appear. So you have to keep it up to date. Do not use a knife too many times in succession. The scraps of hair that remain in the blades can cause damage to the skin and infections. Instead of blades, you can also use a lady shave or a hair removal cream.
Epilation
Epilation goes a little further than shaving. With an epilator you can remove the hairs equal to the root. Your hair must be long enough for it. For plucking your eyebrows or unwanted hair in the face, you can pluck the hair away with tweezers. You pull the hair out of the hair shaft with the tweezers. It is a time-consuming and intensive job. It also requires some skill.
Resins
Waxing is the removal of unwanted hair with the help of a sticky substance that attaches itself to the hair. The hair can be removed quickly with it. The treatment is not really pleasant, but the result remains visible for longer (at least two weeks). The hairs are in fact pulled out of the skin in one go with root.

Permanent Hair Removal
Permanent hair removal can be achieved with laser treatments. There are different lasers that are used for this. During laser treatment with Intense pulsed light (IPL), heat is directed towards the hair follicles, so that no new hair can grow at this location. Now you might be thinking is ipl laser hair safe? yes, this new procedure is safe and tested world wide. Other laser treatments are done with the ruby laser, the alexandrite laser, diode laser and the YAG laser. The methods correspond to the ILP laser. Electric hair removal is another way to get rid of unwanted hair permanently. A treatment consists of inserting a small needle into the hair shaft with which an electrical surge is introduced that damages or destroys the hair follicle. It is used to remove facial hair. Multiple treatments are needed and it is very sensitive rather painful method of removing unwanted hair.
