Online COVID-19 Cluster Look Up Tool
As promised by NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, an online tool for determining what COVID-19 zone an address is located within is now available for everyone’s use.
Unlike the maps originally provided by NY Governor Andrew Cuomo (which were very vague and roughly drawn) this new tool allows you to zoom into your area using your mouse wheel, double clicking &/or by using the zoom tools on the upper left hand corner of the map.
Once you’ve searched for an address or intersection you’re then alerted as to the rules which apply.
Yours truly carried out a search for “Elmhurst Hospital” simply by entering those words. Immediately I’m shown possible locations from which I picked the following suggestion: “NYC Health Hospitals Elmhurst, 79-01 Broadway, Elmhurst, NY, 11373, USA”

The Mayor today, “We’re going to create an online tool to let people know by typing in their address exactly what zone they’re in – we’ll announce when that is up. We’re going to be doing an outreach effort, education effort, full force of the City government will be out there in communities affected.”

Activity Guidance
| Houses of Worship | Houses of worship may remain open at 50% maximum capacity. |

| Businesses | Businesses including gyms and fitness centers, and personal care services, including barbers, hair salons, spas, tattoo or piercing parlors, nail technicians and nail salons, cosmetologists, estheticians, the provision of laser hair removal and electrolysis, etc. must close. |
| Dining | Restaurants, bars, cafes and other food service establishments can provide outdoor dining and takeout and delivery service only. There is a four-person maximum per table. No indoor dining is allowed. |
| Schools | All New York City public schools and nonpublic schools must close and return to full remote learning. |
