There are soo many steps and reasons we all need when it comes to threading or even waxing our eyebrows. But what about threading vs. waxing? How will you know what’s the better form of hair removal for you? I’ve tried them all and I’m gonna break it down for you. Not only does threading have this cool method of hair removal and can be good for your skin it can be expensive. Waxing can be pretty cheap but sometimes can have you leaving with your brows not look as you planned. What will you choose?
1. Waxing exfoliates
Did you know that waxing your hair exfoliates your skin? It’s like a deep exfoliation you’ve been looking for. Stripping away all your dead skin leaving your skin silky smooth. Plus it makes your eyebrow hair take longer to come back. I normally wouldn’t notice any hair growth till the second week.
2. Threading is safer on the skin?
Believe it or not, threading is safer on the more delicate parts of your body like your face. It’s not as harsh as wax can be and there’s a less chance of you getting any irritation if you have sensitive skin. I personally would get irritation right after and had to make sure I rinsed my face off every time I waxed. I never had this issue with threading.

3. Waxing is quicker
I’m sure you’ve seen how fast waxing can go, and even though it hurts, it hurts for like a second and then you’re done. It really does go by quick, you could go get your eyebrows done on your lunch break and still get lunch afterward.
4. Threading hurts more
I remember the first time I went to get my eyebrows threaded and boy did it hurt! Not only did it take longer than waxing but it feels like someone is plucking a bunch of hair at once and it goes on between 5-10 minutes. It may not seem that long, but it certainly feels like it. The only thing I’ll say is that it’s beneficial about this, is the result, they really do take the time to make sure your eyebrows are done the way you want. Just always lets them know to keep your brows thick, same for when you get them waxed.

5. Waxing thins out brows
This happened to me as well. I watched as my brows became thinned out over time. I still haven’t gotten my brows as thick as they used to be. They say waxing over time can cause the hair to stop growing, which is great in other parts of your body just not the eyebrows.

6. Threading can keep your brows thicker
If you have the right go-to person for your eyebrows, you can keep them thick. I would literally have my go-to person give me advice on my brows and she would tell me sometimes to let them grow in more before I came back in. Plus there really analyzing your brows, in order to do them in a way that goes with your hair pattern, they don’t create a shape, they use yours.
Threading vs. waxing?
I can’t really stress which is better, I will say I prefer to thread my brows, but if I were to remove hair in any other area I would definitely pick waxing. In the end, it’s up to you based on this information what you prefer.
