Many people at some point in their lives for one reason or another will be unhappy with some part of their body. Sometimes, with finer hair, one laser hair removal treatment may be all that is required, but in areas with thicker or more problematic hair, multiple treatments may be required, and also subsequent treatments at a later date.
As the laser is very low-powered and the treatment is very localized, there is little damage done to the area other than that intended, although it is not unusual for the treated area to show some redness for a few days.
Laser hair removal is often used to treat moustache hair and hair on the sides of the face in women, but can be used to deal with problem hair anywhere for anyone of any gender.
Laser hair removal is a non-invasive procedure, no needles are used and no cuts are made, and most people will feel little or no pain, although some clients may feel a little discomfort for a short time after the procedure depending on skin sensitivity and pain threshold.

Some companies will specialize in producing medical-aesthetic equipment for clinics and spas for laser hair removal, and laser hair removal is a very common and medically safe procedure that is often offered by spas, as it does not require specialist medical knowledge or training.
This means that a referral from a doctor is not required for laser hair removal for an individual, and it can be as easy as making an appointment at a local spa.
Laser hair removal is not normally done in one treatment, as due to it being done one follicle at a time, so it may be done over multiple visits, dealing with one part of the problem area at a time. This again makes it very suitable for the accessible environment of a local spa, who will offer a range or aesthetic beauty treatments for their clients.
Laser hair removal can be offered in a spa as a one off service, or as part of a service of packages and treatments, particularly in terms of skincare to match where hair removal has taken place.
