I hope you don’t mind that I am rehashing this event so much! It was such a dream come true! And it was such a confidence booster/learning experience for me personally.
Before I left I really wondered if I would be able to do it. A whole room start to finish. You see, I like to remodel meaning- pull walls out, tweak floor plans, paint walls and change flooring, but when it comes to decorating, I have never felt like I could really do it. This is real life here, I have a budget…okay that is usually $0.00 to create my look, and I often feel like I don’t know how to decorate. But I figured something out. I do know how, WOW! I just need to trust my instinct, and go with what others may not like if it means I love it… and now?- I really want to try and create a space that feels like me here.
What else did I learn? Well, with my personal aha moment, it has actually made me think a little bit about this blog and my lack of presence on it. I am going to try and remedy that. I will still be featuring projects, but I am going to try my hardest to actually tell you about some of the I am doing. Because the fact is the truth, I have done a lot, but simply not had time to blog about it. All these great ideas I’ve come up with never get shared.
Going to the event and talking with Lindsay of Living With Lindsay just really helped me. She too has very young children, and it just put life into perspective. THANK YOU LINDSAY! Anyway, I can’t really put it into words, but it felt so good to not feel like I was the only one struggling with being a mom and balancing it all.

So my beloved readers, tell me, would it bug you if I shared a little bit more of my personal life? Okay, not drama, but just day to day. I have tried to keep it all separate, but I am missing my self in my very own blog. I’d love to hear from you!
