I’ve zapped the hair pretty much everywhere else (with great results), so what’s standing in the way of my lasering my upper lip? It’s the psychological leap I would have to make to execute Stage One of the laser hair removal process – shaving the designated area. I can’t seem to bring a razor to my face.
Thank Philips, then, for their Precision Perfect Compact Trimmer, £16.99, which could have been made for the purposes of overcoming this barrier: if it’s trimming, not shaving, then it’s OK! I’ll be trying it later, along with my new Philips Lumea IPL Hair Removal System For Face, Body & Bikini, £350, which has a small headpiece designed for little areas like the upper lip. I’ve heard the combo works a treat.
How charming!
In support of his holistic approach to beauty – it’s all about nutrition and emotional wellbeing, as well as moisturiser – Dr Murad doles our inspirational quote cards along with his products and facials. And when you have the facial, they’ll make you a bespoke, skin-supporting smoothie, too.
(The Murad Method Facial System is available at Harrods Urban Retreat.)
Three new favourite…
Though my mood for nails at the moment is for very short and very nude, making me very low-maintenace in the mani department, I’m still finding plenty of products to get into:
To keep nails and cuticles hydrated: Dadi Oil Organic Nail Treatment, £11
To add a very subtle something: Butter London Nail Lacquer in Splash Out
To add shine in a hurry: Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, £9
Have a beautiful weekend!
