What I love about being in the 21st century is that so many services that used to only be available at salons are now available at home. Treatments and services that were also done only at salons can be done at home too. Laser hair removal, light therapy, and facial rolling. Sure, they can be costly, but in the long run, it does save you money.
Today I wanted to go over facial rollers! I have more then I would like to admit, and yes I do use ALL of them. Now, you don’t need to have every type of facial roller out there. That’s why you have me *wink, wink*?! I DO want to break down every kind of roller there is out there, that way, you can make the decision on which one to invest in.
Facial rollers are paint rollers for the skin, and they even look like one to me! They’re used to enhance blood circulation, help products absorb into the skin, and reduce puffiness which is caused by congested lymphatic channels. All facial rollers are used to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, firm your skin, and help reduce the look of inflammation. P.S. read this article by The Style Caster if you want to learn more.
How do you use it?
The most recommended way to use a facial roller is to apply your serum/oil/moisturizer on to your skin first and then roll your face to help the product absorb into your skin. Note- because facial rollers help with lymphatic drainage, you must be careful to roll up and away from the (see picture below). Roll outward, not inward.
Jade Rollers
Jade rollers work by boosting blood circulation, reducing swelling, and allowing skin care products to seep deeper into the surface of your skin. They help reduce puffiness and inflammation to the face by stimulating the lymphatic system. Metaphysically, jade brings peace and harmony and is known to help reduce stress.

Derma Rollers
The derma roller is a facial massage roller covered in microneedles. This is used to create tiny punctures on the skin and trigger cell regeneration and new collagen to promote skin repair. Produces natural collagen and elastin to eliminate wrinkles and sun damage. These can also aid in preventing premature, improve the appearance of scars, helps to reduce discoloration and age spots. Derma rollers also improve the appearance of rosacea and aid in eliminating acne. (See this post here about my favorite derma roller).

This 24k gold bar vibrates 6,000 times a minute (micro vibration), giving the facial muscle a right amount of stimulation to achieve a firming effect. Facial massagers also help with reducing wrinkles around eyes, lips, forehead, and neck.
