HOW DOES SOPRANO TITANIUM WORK?
Soprano Titanium utilizes a laser that targets and destroys unwanted hair follicles. This laser emits a beam of light that is absorbed by the melanin, or pigment, in the hair. Once absorbed, the heat from the laser damages the hair follicle, impairing future growth. Over time, the damaged follicles will produce less and less hair, resulting in a permanent hair reduction of 90% or more.
The Soprano Titanium is unique because it uses a sweeping motion called Super Hair Removal (SHR™), allowing for more even coverage and significantly faster treatment times than other lasers. WHAT DOES SOPRANO TITANIUM FEEL LIKE?
Permanently reducing unwanted hair with Soprano Titanium is a painless experience. Traditional laser hair reduction treatments can be uncomfortable, with many people describing the sensation as a pinch or like being snapped by a rubber band. However, because of Soprano Titanium’s ICE™ cooling system, skin is kept cool and comfortable during treatment. As the SHR™ motion heats pigmented hair follicles, the ICE™ technology simultaneously cools the skin, making the treatment highly tolerable in even the most sensitive areas like the bikini region.
IS THERE SPECIFIC BEFORE AND AFTERCARE WITH SOPRANO TITANIUM?
Your Skin Artisans provider will advise you to shave the day before your Soprano Titanium treatment. This ensures that the laser’s energy is absorbed deep in the hair follicle and does not remain on the surface of your skin.
During your initial consultation, your Skin Artisans provider will discuss certain medications and skin care products that may be contraindicated to your treatment, such as photosensitizing antibiotics and topical retinol.
After your Soprano Titanium treatment, you must wear a physical SPF 30 or higher on any exposed treatment areas for the entirety of your treatment course. You should also avoid heated treatments, saunas, and direct sunlight for at least ten days.
WHEN DO I SEE RESULTS WITH SOPRANO TITANIUM LASER HAIR REDUCTION?
After your Soprano Titanium treatment, your skin may be slightly red and sensitive. Keep the area cool and protect it from direct sunlight to avoid complications such as hyperpigmentation. Over the next two weeks, your next active growth cycle will begin to push out the treated and destroyed hair follicles. You may see some of this, but generally, the shedding process happens naturally as we shower and shave. With each passing treatment, you’ll notice less and less hair regrowth until the area is completely smooth and hair-free!
Laser hair reduction is only effective on hair follicles in their active growth cycle at the time of treatment. This percentage will vary on different areas of the body, but in general, expect to see about a 20% reduction in regrowth after each appointment. Multiple treatments are needed to experience a total and permanent hair reduction of 90% or more. Skin Artisans providers recommend a series of 6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After achieving your desired clearance, anticipate having 1-2 maintenance treatments each year to maintain your results and enjoy the long-term benefits of smooth skin all year round!
