Beauty blogger Stephanie Ziajka shares a Silk'n Flash & Go Express at home hair removal device review on Diary of a Debutante

As a New England transplant, there is nothing I hate more than shaving. Thanks to the single-digit temperatures, my skin is already so dry and sensitive that even the nicest razor inevitably leaves a nasty trail of red bumps. They’re ugly, and they hurt. That said, I’ve always been curious about laser hair removal treatment, but given their cost and the need for ongoing sessions, I’ve never pulled the trigger. Fortunately for me and my dry, sensitive, and un-assimilated skin, I’ve recently found my new best friend, and her name is Silk’n. I wasn’t sure which product(s) to try first, but after reading some reviews, I decided to order the Flash&Go Express at home hair removal device. Keep reading for my full Silk’n Flash & Go Express review!

Silk’n Flash & Go Express Review

Generally speaking, the Silk’n Flash & Go Express is a light-based device for long-term hair removal that’s designed for at-home use. It’s cute, compact, and incredibly easy to use, which are three characteristics that make it an instant winner in my book. I’ve been using mine for the past month and a half and have made it through my first three treatments (they recommend doing treatments 1-4 two weeks apart). I’m not even halfway done, and I’m already so happy and excited by the results! The nerdy planner in me has already pre-scheduled all my remaining treatments in my Google calendar.

Now, first thing’s first– price. The Silk’n Flash & Go Express at-home hair removal device is an investment. It’s $299 at Nordstrom with free shipping. I’m a saver, so I’m not going to pretend that $300 isn’t a lot of money. It is significantly cheaper than professional hair removal treatments, though. It’s also super easy to use– not to mention significantly more fun than shaving.

Also, when I say it’s easy to use, I mean it’s ridiculously easy to use. The only things to be cognizant of are its warnings, which are plastered all over the user manual. For example, you shouldn’t use this at home hair removal device around or near your eyes. You can, however, use it from the cheekbones down to remove any unwanted facial hair.

You can use the Flash&Go at home hair removal device on your upper and lower legs, arms, and bikini line. I’m literally praying for the day when my nasty dark brown leg hairs are no more. Dudes can actually use it, too (just not on their face), which is fun! Kyle hasn’t started any of his treatments yet, but I’m excited to see how he likes it!

I also highly recommend pairing your at home hair removal treatments with candles, a bottle of champagne, and a face mask. The process can be a little time consuming, so it’s the perfect opportunity to give yourself a full-on at-home spa night.

Just the thought of being silky smooth and stubble free every day puts an enormous smile on my face. If you have any questions about my experience with the Silk’n Flash & Go Express, let me know! I’m more than happy to help!

Thanks for reading, y’all
