  SUMMARY:

  The Cerologist (Esthetician / Waxer) is responsible for providing safe and thorough waxing services, as well as lash and brow tinting, lash lifts, and enhancement service. Amazing customer service and the ability to build a book of business is a MUST, in addition to other daily operations in the studio, such as cleaning the treatment room and other assigned duties. MUST be willing to do MALE BRAZILIAN. And MUST have at least 1 YEAR WAX EXPERIENCE.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of a Cerologist

  Responsible for implementation of customer service standards for all internal and external customers. Goal is to exceed customer expectations from initial inquiry to on-going customer relationship management.

  Accountable for efficient, effective and high quality service provision following all defined waxing service standards. Will follow all policies and procedures to accomplish these standards. Includes: body and facial waxing, and lash/brow tinting, lash lift services.

  Implements referral and retention practices as outlined.

  Giving top notch client care and customer service.

  Learning and educating clients on waxing per and post care.

  Actively engage in implementation of ongoing process improvement.

  Maintaining wax suites and studio up to state board standards and maintaining state license.

  Following all policies and procedures set by management and Waxing the City.

  Actively engage in upselling and product sales.

  ROLE SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY:

  The Cerologist reports directly to salon manager/salon lead and indirectly to all members of ownership and is accountable for all service provision. The Cerologist is accountable for meeting established minimal waxing and customer service standards focusing on both internal customer (staff, volunteers, interns, vendors) and external customer (current clients and all potential customers). Also accountable for client retention and referral networks.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  Required:

  Current PA State License

  Excellent Waxing Skills/Technique

  Time Management skills

  Verbal skills

  MUST be a Team player within team environment

  Exceptional Customer Service & Ability to upsell

  Self-Motivated and is willing to marketing yourself to get clients in the door!!!!

  Great attitude

  Able to work nights and/or weekends

  Ability to build a book of business through street/social media marketing

  Preferred:

  Previous waxing experience in a salon/spa

  Customer Service/Sales in salon/spa environment
