Fillers are synthetic material that is injected into a wrinkle to decrease the wrinkle line. Most of the time, a local anesthetic is needed to administer the procedure. We can also prescribe a sedative to take by mouth. if you are anxious before the procedure. A consultation is needed first to decide which filler will best improve your concern. The Rosato Plastic Surgery Center only uses FDA approved fillers for your safety. Serious complications can occur if non FDA approved products are used. You will be swollen for up to 3 days and may have bruising. It is recommended to avoid excessive bruising that you are not on medication that may thin your blood.

Laser treatment of the skin
Dr. Rosato offers laser treatments of wrinkles, red and brown spots, and tattoo removal. Laser technology changes very rapidly due to new innovations. The most exciting new laser is a fractional CO2 laser, which combines the beneficial effects of the CO2 Laser and the Fraxel Laser. No anesthesia is required and a topical anesthetic cream is used to limit discomfort. The laser treats 30% of the skin at a time so down time is less than a week. Treatments are one month apart and usually 3 treatments are necessary to get the desired results.

Here at the Rosato Plastic Surgery Center we have carried the Obagi line since it was developed over 20 years ago. The program is a prescription skin care line used to treat early signs of aging, acne and pigmentation irregularities. The program does require monitoring to help patients achieve their optimal results. Rachel is an expert in directing the program and will help you along the way. Our licensed aesthetician Yulin has over 25 years of experience in providing clients with customized facial services designed especially for your individual skin care needs. She can recommend other skin care products and facial skin treatments that are not addressed by the Obagi skin care line. Her post-procedure facials are designed to provide comfort and aid in the recovery phase of your facial surgery. Yulin also offers make up applications and as well as lessons to compliment your new look or just for that special occasion.
