How does it work?
With Selective pyrolysis and thermal effect principle, IPL Intense Pulsed Light produces a high intensity flash of filtered light from the applicator head, which has been placed in contact with the skin. The energy from the light source is absorbed by the pigment melanin, which is the chromophore, which gives hair its color. the hair rapidly absorbs this filtered light and transfers it to the surrounding cells that in turn are converted into heat. The heating denatures the cells making them incapable of producing further hair growth.

so i purposely decided to not to review it right when i received it because hair removal takes time. i did the first two weeks of the process which is twice a week. i am a man so my facial hair is obviously much more thicker than women's facial hair. the instructions states that you should shave before you start the laser removal. well.. i did more than that. i actually spent a few hours to pluck every individual strand of facial hair before the start of my first session. then i showered to exfoliate my skin and whatever is in my pores. I am glad i did too. it allowed my hair to get much more thinner than what would normally be if i didnt pluck. so if youre on the fence... dont be. get it. but i follow a strict regiment. i pluck, then shower/exfoliate, then i use the machine. i also use the machine at the highest setting. it stings like hell BUT hey, it works. another benefit that came with this was that my skin is much more cl**er and has less ingrowns! my face is much more brighter.
