How does the procedure work?

The surface of the skin is cooled by a gel applied immediately before and after treatment, and by the cooling head of the laser hand-piece which glides over the skin.
The steps:
Step 1. Shave the treatment area. Step 2. We Place the pulsed light hand-piece on the area to be treated. Step 3. The hand-piece emits a beam of intense pulsed light, which is absorbed by the hair follicles and converted to heat. Step 4. The heat disables the hair follicles.
Some of the hair is wiped off immediately after treatment, and the rest is shed over the next 2-3 weeks. The hair roots which have been destroyed are reabsorbed by the body.
