What is Laser Hair Removal?
Dr. Beverly Fischer uses Forever Bare BBL, a revolutionary technology in laser hair removal. By providing energy in multiple bursts instead of all at once, Forever Bare BBL keeps the skin protected and provides a treatment that is safe, fast, and comfortable. This technology allows for extremely even heating of hair follicles and minimizes missed areas that occur with traditional hair removal devices.
The light energy is converted into heat that damages the center of the hair follicle and prevents the hair from growing. The treated hair will fall out in the weeks after treatment, leaving you with smooth, hair-free skin.
The Forever Bare BBL also has different size adapters, which allow us to treat small and large areas. The device also includes a thermoelectrically cooled sapphire plate in the handpiece, which keeps the skin cool throughout treatment.
Candidates for Laser Hair Removal
Most of our patients are good candidates for laser hair removal. If you’re tired of stubble after only a few hours or sick of constantly shaving, waxing, or plucking, laser hair removal can take away the burden of removing hair and leave you with smooth, hairless skin with only a few treatments.

To start the procedure, your provider will clean the area and apply a clear gel to the skin. They will then move the Forever Bare BBL handpiece over your skin. The handpiece emits a broad spectrum of focused energy that targets the melanin at the base of your hair follicles. This light energy heats up and damages the hair follicle, preventing it from growing hair in the future.
Treatment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, and we typically recommend 3-5 treatment sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
Laser Hair Removal Recovery & Results
With no downtime after laser hair removal, you can return to your normal routine immediately. You may see some redness or swelling, but that will dissipate within a few days. After treatment, you’ll want to avoid excess sun exposure and wear sunscreen regularly to prevent sun damage.
After a few weeks, you’ll notice the hair in the treated area starting to fall out. Some hair may continue to grow in between treatment sessions because not all hair is going through the same stage of the hair cycle. Multiple treatment sessions are needed so we can catch all the hair when it’s in the active growth phase.
As for the results, they are typically permanent, allowing you to enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for the rest of your life.
