How does a chemical peel work?
A chemical peel involves the use of a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Chemical peels increase cellular turnover which in turn help treat damaged, acne prone, sensitive, dry and oily skin.
Will my chemical peel be painful?
Everyone is different, but most people feel mild stinging or a slight burning feeling that lasts for a short period of time.
Is there downtime after the MicroPeel treatment?
There is usually no downtime associated with the MicroPeel. Your skin may be a little red and can be slightly inflamed the day of and the day after the treatment. Depending on the treatment used, light to moderate peeling can be expected.
