The Facial Specialist Program is designed to prepare students and skincare specialists to work as Estheticians. Advanced Medical Esthetics CourseThe Advanced Medical Esthetics Course provides Dermaplaning, Microneedling, Chemical Peel, and Hydrafacial education.
Dermaplaning is a safe, painless procedure that exfoliates the surface of the skin while removing fine hair.
Microneedling treats fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and many other skin texture conditions. Microneedling can be used on all parts of the body including the face, neck, décolletage, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and back. This course instructs students to microneedle using a SkinPen, the only FDA-approved microneedling device on the market.
Chemical Peels can be light, moderate, or deep. State licenses generally limit licensed estheticians to performing light and moderate peels. This course prepares students with advanced training in Lactic, Glycolic, Salicylic, TCA & Jessner Mid-Depth Peels.
