How does laser hair removal work?
The laser emits light which is absorbed by the melanin pigment in our hair. The light energy is then converted to heat to vaporise the hair follicle. This is a safe and effective procedure which can be performed quickly with minimal downtime. Commonly treated areas include the face, underarms, bikini lines, chest, abdomen, upper and lower limbs.
When will I see results from laser hair removal?
Hair grows in cycles and it takes time to fall out from its follicle. Laser hair removal targets hair follicles in the active growing phase. The number of laser sessions and its interval is dependent on your hair density and its location. Repeated sessions are needed to see the best results. Most of the times, you will see noticeable results after 4 to 8 monthly sessions, but results may vary for individuals.
