Cosmetic and aesthetic treatments and procedures have enjoyed an enormous boost in popularity over the past few years. Recent developments and techniques have meant these procedures are more accessible and affordable for the everyday person.
There are a wide variety of different cosmetic procedures available today, with new treatments being developed all the time. We’ve put together a list with four of the most popular treatments. Keep reading to check it out.
Botox Injections
Botox is a drug made from the botulinum toxin. While it can be used for medical procedures such as neck or bladder issues, it also is widely used as a cosmetic treatment. Botox treatment can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines on the face by targeting and relaxing the muscles that cause them.
Botox is becoming increasingly popular, and we’re even seeing medical practitioners move into the field through the rise in botox courses for doctors.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillershyaluronic acid
The procedure normally takes around 30 minutes, with the effects expected to last between six and 18 months.
Micropigmentation
Micropigmentationpermanent makeup
The process involves the use of a needle to insert pigment granules in the target areas. The pigment is usually made from iron oxide, which is a hypoallergenic compound that can prevent excessive bleeding.
The entire process can take several hours, and there will be a few days of recovery time required afterwards where you might feel itchy or uncomfortable. The effects of micropigmentation can seem very strong initially, but this will settle over the course of a few weeks and begin to look a lot more natural.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removalunwanted hair
It is usually used to remove hair from the face, legs, chest, and bikini line. However, it is not permanent, and repeat sessions will be required to prevent hair from regrowing.
During a laser hair removal session, goggles will need to be worn to protect the eyes from harmful light. The procedure shouldn’t be painful but can sometimes feel strange or uncomfortable, with some patients reporting that it feels like an elastic band being flicked off of their skin.
The treated area may be red or tender up to a few days afterwards, with some patients reporting a rash. Ice packs can be applied to reduce redness and swelling, while affected skin should be kept out of the sun for several weeks after the treatment.

The SaaS industry is already very competitive and is becoming more so. The total amount that end users spent worldwide on public cloud services in 2021 was $332.3 billion, up 23.1% from the $270 billion spent in 2020.
Finding new customers, known as prospecting, is more challenging as you sift through accurate data. And even after capturing leads, the sales cycle for SaaS solutions typically lasts longer than other types of businesses — taking 4-6 months. It’s a long time to keep following up with a potential customer in the hopes of making a sale.
Thus, closing the sales faster requires effective SaaS product management that ensures the effective use of available resources (and teams) and unlocks true growth potential. It involves organizational aspects of product development, sales, marketing, and quality management, enabling managers and engineers to adapt to market dynamics quickly.
Think of it as a classic product management case, but here, products are software. That requires deep tech proficiency, basic coding skills, market understanding, and more. As many cloud-based software companies are CX-focused businesses, product management should also focus on UX.
A starter guide for SaaS product management includes creating MVP, staying growth-focused, optimizing the product, and leveraging a dedicated product management team.
Let’s get started!
Define your minimum viable product
A minimum viable productsignificant value
You can get closer to defining the parameters of your minimum viable product by defining the following:
- User persona(s)
- Solution(s) to the problem
- Action(s) required to solve their problem through your SaaS product
Enable Growth
A growth-oriented SaaS business must make a market-validated product that results in onboarding users and driving active subscriptions.
Here, product management tasks include—
- Computing ROI
- Framing a product roadmap
- Enhancing quality while making the brand stand out in the market
A general perception that SaaS product management won’t require much care once you have customers is wrong. It works the other way around. The real work begins when you have successfully generated the traction and now would leverage it for expansion.
Here are some of the key tasks that help unlock SaaS growth
- Keep up with or improve upon current monthly sales
- Cater to satisfy existing customers by promptly addressing their concerns.
- Consistently enhance marketing strategies that help grow new customers.
- Ensure the SaaS product continues to run smoothly, securely, and quickly to improve the scope of usage.
- Create brand-new functions.
- Pricing and the business strategy may be refined via iteration.
Utilize the available funds to rope in experts or expand your in-house staff to overcome growth challenges.
Ensure tracking the SaaS product management efforts with key KPIs like —
- Qualitative feedback on user onboarding
- CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)
- LTV (Life Time Value of a customer)
- User churn rates
- And other growth metrics depending on your SaaS business model
Product optimization
Most SaaS product managers would turn to developers when product optimization becomes inevitable. But, changing the current SaaS scenario requires identifying value-adding changes to incorporate and gauge the impact of such modifications.
The project manager must work with the development teams and run multiple A/B tests before finalizing changes.
Once the product is launched, the product management team works for ways to optimize the same. Because if the product improves over time, it is bound to succeed in thriving competition. Therefore, an ideal SaaS product management often includes optimization which requires planning updates and collecting user feedback.
Product optimization is not limited to the product but also includes tapping into the following—
SaaS stack visibility: Leveraging SaaS product management tools to examine how effectively your business uses the available resources comprehensively. Look for opportunities to explore security aspects, resource utilization, license management, etc.
Optimized budgets: A footprint analysis of ROI help allocate funds for the expansion of each division. This is the first step to optimizing SaaS spending, effectively gauging update costs, and predicting future SaaS spending.
Licensing automation: A dynamic and automated workflow helps optimize SaaS licensing by provisioning, de-provisioning, downgrading, and upgrading per-user license tier. Such automated licensing management ensures that everyone gets the proper license type.
A dedicated product management team
Lastly, successful SaaS product management requires a dedicated team that will overlook the functional aspects of products. Below are some key roles that can play a major role in a product management team.
- VP, Product Management: This position is treated as a product owner who knows the product, in & out. A person in such a key position will make every major product-related decision.
- Product Manager(s): There can be one or more product managers who are charged with developing true empathy for customers and creatively solving their problems. They also hold the command line to make everyday decisions and ensure smooth team functioning.
- UX managers, designers, and researchers: A team of experts and skilled resources are hired to examine a product’s layout and information architecture that makes it simpler to use.
Ideally, a product leader would ensure keeping a high-functioning product management team with the following key tasks —
- Setting up a roadmap and product strategy
- Navigate and access possible growth opportunities
- Exploring the scope of the product
- Internally representing the product through various supports (sales and marketing), promoting products amongst evangelists, doing expert reviews, etc.
- Understanding the customer’s wants and pain areas
Putting an ideal candidate at the helm of the product management department would demand resources at the disposal and better control to assemble a team boasting the right skills.
Conclusion
Product management begins with understanding business strategy and translating it into a plan to improve your company’s SaaS offerings. Linking business goals with product offerings helps tailor solutions for a target market. Successful product development is necessary to meet the needs of those market segments and strive for improving results.
Though not easy, establishing and maintaining an effective product management function can yield significant returns and unlock hidden potential for streamlined operations.

The four-day work week is a current workplace trend meant to embrace work-life balance. There are different perspectives on it and companies are still on the fence. Many organizations are having challenges on how to consider it, but regardless of how companies choose to tackle it, this new approach to work culture requires an open mindset.
At its heart, a four-day work week is about providing employees with flexibility. Flexibility is needed in all workplaces as lifestyles and work requirements vary from employee to employee. That is why companies should prioritize personalization of workplace practices, to cater to everyone’s needs. But condensing work into four days may actually reduce the ability to have personal flexibility. The same hours are being condensed into four days, requiring employees to be more highly focused and productive than they would if the extra day was in their schedule. This also does not leave much room for those who want to fit in their personal priorities where they see fit, not determined on a strict work week.
That is where challenges and questions arise around if this is even feasible. People are looking for flexible time for personal priorities on a daily basis, which is hard to maintain during the four days. Scattered working hours allows someone to decide how they prioritize their week.
Ultimately, a company needs to focus on measuring both productive and employee engagement, while letting people be in the driver’s seat of how results can be achieved.
A four-day work week also affects global organizations with people in roles where they depend on communicating across time zones. Removing an entire day of possible interaction would slow down decision-making, collaboration, and communications. Many roles are relationship-based, so it’s not possible for shift work or team coverage to solve this.
Moreover, through a flexible workplace approach, being empowered to manage both work and personal life seamlessly throughout the day has been arguably one of the best evolutions in decades.
Employee needs must be taken very seriously, and we want to provide the best working experience, through multiple initiatives. Companies need to look at having flexible guidelines to embrace trust and empower decision-making at the individual and team level with regards to when, where and how people work. This encompasses having remote, hybrid and office work, part-time options, and scattered working hours. Teams can also experiment with meeting-free Fridays, and conduct workshops designed to bring managers and teams together to co-create flex working schedules.
Above all, every work style comes with setting boundaries to respect personal lives and reduce burn out. By experimenting with different work styles, it creates opportunity for personalization, but also requires developing the skill of tuning in and importantly out of work. It is up to you as an organization to assess what will truly cater to the heart of your company, your employees, whether that is a four-day work week or a more flexible approach.

As one of the most popular casino games of all time, it’ll come as no surprised that Roulette has made a name for itself when it comes to breaking records! Some people out there are just lucky, and on a handful of occasions, they’ve brought that luck with them to the Roulette table. What’s more, even casino employees have begun lending their hand to holding records surrounding the game, as you’ll find out later.
Keep reading as we give you details on some of the wildest wins and records in Roulette history!
Record #1 – The biggest Roulette table.
In 2019, a casino in Jounieh, Lebanon, created the largest Roulette table that’s ever been seen, at a place called Casino Du Liban. This casino is a lavish affair to start with, with opulent and decadent furnishings and a stunning coastal city view. Prior to its discovery, the table was actually built back in 2017, although the manufacturers were unaware that it was set to hold a world record! Staying true to its rich reputation, Casino Du Liban is also the home of the biggest interactive ceiling Roulette, which, as you can imagine, involves some seriously intricate and layered mechanics, but allows players to enjoy an entirely unique way to play their favourite game.
Get a closer look at the staggering table here:
Record #2 – The hardest working croupier.
Now onto a more extreme record, when it comes to human endurance. In 2005, Intan Pragi, a professional Estonian croupier, made a name for himself by holding the world record for spinning the Roulette wheel the most amount of times! He was working at the Olympic Casino at the time in Estonia, so they can proudly say their tables have been graced by a legend! Within just 48 hours, Pragi had spun the Devil’s wheel more than 1,650 times, going on to win the Guinness world record for the longest marathon croupier shift.
Record #3 – Biggest celebrity win.
Whilst you may know Mike Ashley best for being the former owner of the Newcastle United Football Club and a billionaire entrepreneur, but in some places, he is known only by his incredible win on the Roulette tables! In 2008, Ashley hit the casinos and won a whopping £1,300,000 in total, although with a small deduction he only actually pocketed £820,000 – our heart breaks for him, honestly! Rich people struggles, eh?
Record #4 – Most repeated number in one game.
Back in 2012, the number 19 was officially crowned the hottest Roulette number of all time! This record was set at the legendary Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the sequence being broken only once by the number 15. The white ball settled on the number 19 a whopping seven times in a row, with many onlookers suspecting that the table had been rigged. This was later disproved, and the phenomenon was simply put down to sheer coincidence!
Record #5 – Most repeated colour in one game.
Staying on the same vein, there’s also been a record set for the most times that a particular colour has been a winner on the wheel. Going all the way back to the 20th century, in 1923 an American casino saw the little white ball settle in a red pocket 32 times in a row! A feat that had never been seen before and, yet again, made players suspect foul play. But, of course, it was all above board, and red was just feeling rather hot that night!

Have you ever wondered how the next generation will use social media?
PostBeyond has predicted how generation alpha will use social media, from their shopping habits, trusting peers online, to their screen time. You can view the full research here.
Screen time is increasing with each generation, with 21% of Generation Alpha predicted to spend over eight hours a day on social media, a 4% increase from Generation Z.
From the table below, you can see that the percentage of the generation that spends over eight hours a day on social media is increasing over time.
t’s not just screen time that will increase with Generation Alpha, trusting peers on social media will also see a rise. PostBeyond predicts that a quarter (25%) of Generation Alpha will trust their peers on social media from opinions, reviews and recommendations, which is a 5% increase from Generation Z, and a 7% increase from Millenials.
In addition to increased trust on social media, the next generation will be more tech-savvy than ever before. It’s predicted that over a quarter (28%) of Generation Alpha will shop through social media, a 5% increase from Millennials. This means that they’ll be able to get great bargains through internet shopping. Internet shopping is one of the most popular online activities in the world, and generation alpha have no plans in slowing this trend down.
The new normal has seemingly come to stay. Whether you are working full-time remotely or have a hybrid schedule of both in office as well as your home, it’s imperative you optimize your home office to the best of your ability. If you have smaller living quarters, your bedroom may be the most realistic option when it comes to setting up your computer and other desk details. There are plenty of ways to get the most out of your small desk space. Creating a few habits will also do wonders for your production and professional appearance to your coworkers. Keep reading for a few tips and ideas to ensure you have the most beneficial workspace.
Establish a cleaning routine
Having a clean environment is crucial to productivity. Cleanliness will have a direct impact on your overall mood and frame of mind throughout your workday. With small knick knacks or a week’s worth of laundry surrounding you, it can subtly hinder your progress throughout the day. Not to mention, the look behind your Zoom calls can make you seem unprofessional with a cluttered workspace.
If you find yourself too busy throughout the day or without the proper tools to actually keep your space clean, there are new solutions that allow you to multitask. You can use online services to get cleaning products delivered, like disinfecting wipes,Pledge, and other essentials to help you keep a clean home and work space. Once they arrive, you can even opt to take a small break to tidy things up for the time being. It can be a great way to break up your day!
Create a structured day
During working hours, avoid treating your office for what it is, a bedroom. This includes, but not limited to, working from your bed, staying in your pajamas, or becoming distracted from a book you’ve been reading. To ensure you avoid distractions, be sure to create a structured day to follow.
Start by waking up early enough to be able to get ready for the day. It can be far too easy to roll out of bed 5 minutes before starting and just turning on your computer as is. However, treating the day as if you were heading into the office can trick your brain into thinking you actually are. If you are really struggling with creating this feeling, try setting aside 20 minutes to be treated as your commute!
Take breaks as you would in the office
A surprising aspect you may have not realized you’re missing out on, is the social interaction you receive when working with your coworkers. Whether it’s the walk to the kitchen or simply stopping and having coffee with your team, there are endless opportunities to have a small, but needed break from work.
While working from home, you may find yourself constantly finding yourself becoming distracted. With our phones and TVs right within our reach, it’s the perfect fix we’re looking for. However, these can become time consuming distractions and prevent us from being completely productive. Instead, opt to call a friend for a short 15 minutes or take a walk around the neighborhood. There are so many ways to take a healthy step back for a few minutes. Instead of ignoring these desires to remain productive, try feeding into them and get it out of your system. Be sure to limit screen time during these short breaks.
As you perfect your day-to-day routine, the most important thing to consider is finding what works best for you! We’re all different when it comes to working from home, so when you figure out the most optimizing set up, commit to it!
