From the Ozarks to the Delta to the Timberlands to the River Valley, and everywhere in between, there is no doubt that we represent Arkansas to the fullest. There are certain things that are quintessentially Arkansas like our small-town festivals, fried food, and of course, her immense natural beauty. So, when it comes to having strong roots in Arkansas you better believe that there are some surefire signs that we hail from the Natural State. And if you're a true Arkansan, we invite you to Wear Your Roots proudly.
1. You have a drive-in/dairy bar in your town or in a nearby community.
Of course, it reminds you of your childhood, and you believe that it serves the best burger, fries, and milkshake that you've had in your life. And many of them do!
2. You've yelled "Woooooooooo, pig, sooie! one too many times.

3. Sunkist, Fanta, and Welch's ain't got nothing on Grapette.

4. Speaking of Walmart... yes, we are responsible for it.
And whether you love it or hate it, this major retail giant is here to stay. For the best Walmart experience, shop during normal business hours. Any time after that, enter at your own risk. You have been WARNED!
5. We might be a landlock state, but beach days are what our childhood dreams are made of.
We have thousands of lakes, streams, rivers, creeks, and more, so summers are spent cooling off or floating on these waterways. We don't need to leave Arkansas to enjoy a beach vacation.
6. We live, breathe, and bleed fried catfish.
It's one of those deep-rooted Arkansas staples that you can find just about anywhere you go. So, you can only imagine how shocked I was when I discovered that some town in Louisiana is the "Catfish Capital of the World." Arkansas certainly deserves that title.
7. We might not be Texas, but Arkansas knows how to do BBQ "Wright."
In fact, our BBQ is so good that our BBQ joints have won the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award. How about that for some darn good BBQ?
8. It is no secret that we love fried food in Arkansas.

9. Arkansas didn't get the nickname as the Natural State just for the heck of it.
There is immense natural beauty around every turn. If you have roots here, then you should immediately recognize this world-famous crag in the Ozarks.
10. You've been to Eureka Springs and seen this massive 65-foot monument in the hills.
Perhaps viewed as a tourist trap by many, some local folks have come to know it as "Our Milk Carton With Arms."
No matter what part of Arkansas you hail from, I believe that we share the same deep roots. So, let's show our state pride by visiting Wear Your Roots and represent our state to the fullest. Be sure to use code Arkansas10 to receive a sweet discount.
